What one Google Hotels call returns
The Google Hotels API returns the hotel list Google shows for a destination and a pair of dates: 20 hotels per call, one row each. A call costs €0.0015, so 1,000 searches cost €1.50, paid from a prepaid wallet with no plan. Every other source and its price is on the all data APIs and prices page. Save a search once, and every run's hotel prices are stored in your Scrapewise account for the table, Excel, your AI assistant or the API.
Each row has the hotel name, a short description, map coordinates, the nightly rate and the total for your stay, the hotel class, the guest rating, the number of reviews and the split of 5 to 1 star reviews. Google also groups reviews into topics such as service, atmosphere or food, with mention counts, and those come along too.
We searched Paris hotels for 14 to 16 October 2026. St Christopher's Paris Canal came in at $86.74 a night. The Hoxton, Paris, a 4-star hotel with 4,661 reviews, was $518.66. Maison Proust, a 5-star hotel rated 4.8, was $1,142.50. If you run a 4-star hotel two streets from The Hoxton, that's your comparison set, priced for the exact nights you're trying to sell.
This call is the market view. For one hotel's price on each booking site, take a hotel's detail token from its row and run the hotel rate parity call.
Who rate-shops with this
Independent hotels and B&Bs
Most small hotels set rates by hand after checking a few competitors on a phone. One call does that check for 20 hotels at once. Checking the next 30 nights every morning is 900 calls, or €1.35 a month.
Revenue managers
Save the nightly rate of your competitive set for each date ahead and watch how it moves as the date gets closer. Filter by hotel class first, so a 3-star property isn't compared with a palace.
Short-stay hosts
Apartment hosts in hotel-heavy districts price against the hotels around them. Search your neighborhood with a minimum guest rating and see what a well-reviewed room costs for the same weekend.
Small travel agencies
Build a client shortlist in one step. Sort by price or rating, keep the 4-star hotels, and send the five with the best rating for the money.
How it works
Enter a destination and dates
Type a city, district or hotel search with check-in and check-out dates. Sort, minimum rating, hotel class and currency are optional.
Save and schedule it
One call returns 20 hotels. Run it daily and each run adds dated rows, kept for 90 days.
Watch the market
Sort by price in the table or Excel, pull rows by API, or ask your AI assistant: 'which hotels near me dropped their rate for next Friday since Monday?'
Set it up once. The data keeps coming.
Save your search once and it runs by itself. Every run lands in your own Scrapewise database, and you pick how to read it.
Set it up once
Add your ASINs, keywords, places or apps to a scraper in the web app. New accounts get 5 free requests.
Runs on your schedule
Pick daily, weekly on the days you choose, every few days, or the first or last day of the month. Scheduled runs start at night, European time. Need it more often? Start runs from your own code.
Saved in your database
Each run adds dated rows, so this week sits next to last week. Rows are kept for 90 days.
Use it your way
Open the table in the web app and download the latest run as an Excel file. Ask your own AI assistant about it. Or pull the rows into your code with an API key.
Ask your AI assistant about your own data
Connect Claude Desktop, Claude Code or another MCP app with a read-only key. The assistant reads the rows you've already collected, at no extra cost on Scrapewise. With a full-access key it can start a run for you too.
- Which of my ASINs lost the Buy Box this week?
- Which competitor cut prices the most since Monday?
- Show the keywords where I dropped out of the top 10.
What you send and what you get back
You send a destination and your dates. You get back 20 hotels, one row each, priced for those exact nights.

Columns explained
The table shows all 130 columns. Numbered columns such as ratings[0] to ratings[4] repeat one block per item, so a hotel with fewer review topics, amenities or nearby places leaves the higher numbers empty. Columns that start with sw are shared by all our data APIs, and ctx columns describe the search.

Rank, hotel name, Google's hotel ID, nightly price, currency, price unit (night), guest rating, review count, a sponsored flag for paid placements, the destination you searched and fetch time. The sw image column was empty for every hotel in our Paris sample because Google returned no photos.

What you can do with hotel data
Rate-shop your competitive set
Search your city and dates each morning and put your own rate next to the 20 prices. Filter to your hotel class first so you compare like with like.
Price event weekends early
Search a big event weekend 60, 30 and 7 days out. When rates around you climb, demand is showing up before your own bookings do.
Compare the stay total
Each row has the nightly rate and the total for the stay. Two nights at Le VIP Paris Yacht Hotel showed as $176 a night and $352 in total. Use the total when you compare packages or minimum stays.
Read review topics at nearby hotels
Topic names and mention counts show what guests talk about at each competitor. If every hotel near you gets mentions for atmosphere and yours doesn't, that's something to check in your own reviews.
Map your competition
Coordinates on every row let you plot the 20 hotels and measure the distance to your door. Nearby places, like a station or museum, come with travel times.

Why use this for rate shopping
Your exact nights
Prices come for the check-in and check-out dates you send, including the total for the stay.
More than a price per hotel
Star split, review topics, amenities and nearby places arrive in the same row, so one export covers both price and positioning.
A direct path to booking-site prices
Every row carries the detail token for the hotel rate parity call, so going from 20 hotels to one hotel's price on each booking site is one more call at €0.0015.
What your hotel searches will cost
Each search is one call at €0.0015 and returns 20 hotels. Enter how many date pairs you check and how often. Compare all data APIs
