Everything on a Google Business Profile, in one call

The Google Maps place API returns one business's full Google Maps profile as a single row: name, category, address, phone, website, hours, popular times hour by hour for each day, the count of ratings at each star level, service attributes, photo sets and the reviews Google marks most relevant. One call costs €0.0015. Save your places once, and each profile you pull is kept in your Scrapewise account for the table, Excel, your AI assistant or the API.

A search result gives you a business's name, rating and phone. An audit needs much more. How busy is the place at 2 PM on a Monday? Are its 3,911 ratings mostly 5-star, or is there a thick layer of 1-star ratings under a 4.5 average? Which attributes did the owner fill in, and which did the competitor across the street fill in that this one skipped? Google Maps shows all of that on the profile page, spread over tabs and graphs you can't copy.

This API puts it in columns. A busy place comes back with hundreds of them, because every hour of popular times is its own value, and none are cut. You'll usually find place IDs with the Google Maps scraper API, which lists 20 businesses per search. For the reviews themselves with topic counts, use the Google Maps reviews API. All sources and prices are on the all data APIs and prices page.

Who pulls full place profiles

  • Local SEO consultants

You audit Google Business Profiles for a living. Pull your client and their top 3 competitors, put the rows side by side, and list every attribute, photo set and field the client is missing.

  • Multi-location owners

You run 40 branches. One call per branch gives you a sheet with every location's hours, phone, category and rating, so a wrong holiday hour or an old phone number stands out.

  • Restaurant and retail managers

Popular times show when customers come in, by the hour. Use the busiest hours to plan shifts and the quiet ones for deliveries or promotions.

  • Site selection and real estate

Compare foot traffic patterns for the shops around a location you're considering. A street where every cafe peaks at lunch tells you something a rent sheet doesn't.

How it works

  1. Add the place IDs

Copy them from Google Maps search rows, for your branches or your competitors. One business is one call at €0.0015.

  2. Schedule it monthly

Each run keeps a dated copy of every profile, so changes to hours, rating or star breakdown show up month by month.

  3. Read the groups you need

Filter the table to hours or popular times, export Excel, pull rows by API, or ask your AI assistant: 'which competitor's rating went up since last month?'

Set it up once. The data keeps coming.

Save your search once and it runs by itself. Every run lands in your own Scrapewise database, and you pick how to read it.

  1. Set it up once

Add your ASINs, keywords, places or apps to a scraper in the web app. New accounts get 5 free requests.

  2. Runs on your schedule

Pick daily, weekly on the days you choose, every few days, or the first or last day of the month. Scheduled runs start at night, European time. Need it more often? Start runs from your own code.

  3. Saved in your database

Each run adds dated rows, so this week sits next to last week. Rows are kept for 90 days.

  4. Use it your way

Open the table in the web app and download the latest run as an Excel file. Ask your own AI assistant about it. Or pull the rows into your code with an API key.

Ask your AI assistant about your own data

Connect Claude Desktop, Claude Code or another MCP app with a read-only key. The assistant reads the rows you've already collected, at no extra cost on Scrapewise. With a full-access key it can start a run for you too.

  • Which of my ASINs lost the Buy Box this week?
  • Which competitor cut prices the most since Monday?
  • Show the keywords where I dropped out of the top 10.

What you send and what you get back

Send a Google Maps place ID. Each call returns one row. Popular times alone can fill more than 350 columns, since each day has a time, a busyness score and a short label for each hour. Places that don't show popular times or attributes return those columns empty.

What each column means

A place row can run to 586 columns. They fall into a few groups. Columns starting with 'sw' use the same names on every Scrapewise data API. A number in brackets means one item from a list, so hours[0] is the first day and popular_times_graph_results_monday[9] is the 10th hour slot on Monday.

Attributes and service options

What the profile lists under service options, highlights, offerings, payments, accessibility, parking, children and pets, one column per value. The price column holds Google's price text, like '€1-10', or sometimes a short description, so check it before you treat it as a price level. The number after extensions changes from place to place, because each business shows a different set of sections, so match on the section name at the end.

What you can do with a full profile

01

Audit a Google Business Profile

Pull the client and 3 competitors. Count the filled attribute columns for each. If rivals list payments, parking and accessibility and your client lists none, that's the first fix.

02

Staff by real foot traffic

Each hour has a busyness score from 0 to 100. In our sample, Cafe Maiasmokk climbs from 21 at 9 AM to 72 at 2 PM on a Monday. Put your second barista on from 12 to 4.

03

Read the star breakdown

A 4.5 average can hide a lot. The sample cafe has 2,494 five-star and 84 one-star ratings. Compare that split with competitors who show the same average.

04

Check all branches in one sheet

Run 40 branch place IDs and sort by rating, phone or Sunday hours. A branch with the wrong hours or a stale phone number is one glance away.

05

Watch for profile edits

Save each profile monthly and compare. Changes to hours, category, phone or website show up as a different value in the same column.

Why pull place profiles with Scrapewise

  • Popular times you can count

The graph on Google Maps is a picture. Here each hour is a number, so you can average weekdays, compare competitors or chart a whole street.

  • Same price for a big row

A place with 586 columns costs the same €0.0015 as one with 60. You don't pay extra for popular times, attributes or reviews.

  • Built to join with the list

The place ID from any Google Maps search row goes straight in. Search a city once, then pull full profiles only for the businesses you care about.
