1. Introduction
Welcome to Scrapewise.ai ("Scrapewise", "we", "us"). Scrapewise provides an automated data extraction and product analytics platform that helps teams extract, monitor, and enrich structured data from publicly accessible websites (“the Service”).
Our platform supports automation-driven scraping tasks (“Automations”), product matching, enrichment, alerts, and integrations to export results (e.g., CSV, Google Sheets). The Service is designed for commercial analytics, competitive pricing analysis, and research workflows.
Use of the Site and Service is permitted only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:
- Violate any local, national, or international law.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site.
- Transmit any viruses, worms, or malicious code.
2. Definitions
- Account – The user account used to access the Service.
- Customer Data – All data, content, and information collected, uploaded, input, or generated through use of the Service by the customer (including scraped data and derived data).
- Owner – Scrapewise.ai, the operator and data controller under this Agreement.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or republish any content without written permission.
3. Data Ownership
By using the Service, the Customer acknowledges and agrees that all data collected, processed, or stored through the Service — including scraped data and any derived datasets — is owned by Scrapewise.ai (“Customer Data”).
The Customer grants Scrapewise.ai a worldwide, perpetual, transferable, sublicensable license to host, use, process, store, display, reproduce, and create derivative works from such data for the purposes of providing, improving, and operating the Service, developing analytics, backups, and related business operations.
The Customer remains solely responsible for ensuring it has the legal right to access, collect, and instruct our Automations to process any data. Scrapewise.ai expressly disclaims responsibility for any unlawful or unauthorized scraping activity.
Scrapewise.ai does not claim ownership of any confidential or proprietary material the Customer manually uploads into the Service (e.g., internal product or client lists). Such content remains the property of the Customer.
Important: You retain responsibility for ensuring you have legal rights to collect any data you instruct our automations to access. Scrapewise.ai expressly disallows certain scraping targets (see Section 5).
4. What the Service Does
The Service automates data extraction, provides product matching and enrichment, enables monitoring of page changes, scheduling of recurring runs, and exports results to CSV. The Service is offered on multiple plans with different quotas, storage, and retention limits.
5. Prohibited Targets & Uses
Customers are strictly prohibited from using the Service to access, collect, or distribute content from these categories:
- Child sexual abuse material or any sexual content involving minors.
- Adult pornography sites or explicit sexual content where scraping violates law or site terms.
- Government-protected systems or portals requiring authorization or containing sensitive citizen data.
Customers must also comply with applicable laws (privacy, copyright, data protection), the target site’s terms of service, and must not use the Service for unlawful, abusive, or malicious purposes.
6. Manifest — Plan Logic & Packages
When a Customer subscribes to a plan, they accept its limits (runs, storage, seats) and data retention policies. Scrapewise may apply throttling, scheduling limits, or additional controls to ensure safe and legal operation.
7. Customer Agreement & Plan Conditions
By creating an Account and using the Service, the Customer agrees to comply with this Agreement, follow plan limits, accept Scrapewise.ai’s ownership of Customer Data (Section 3), and acknowledge that data retention depends on their subscribed plan (Section 6).
8. Data Retention & Deletion
Data retention periods are defined by the selected plan. When the retention period ends, Scrapewise deletes scraped data unless required by law or covered by an Enterprise agreement.
Customers may request data export before deletion. Retention updates apply only to newly generated data unless otherwise agreed in writing.
9. Security & Access
Scrapewise uses commercially reasonable administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to protect Customer Data. Customers are responsible for safeguarding account credentials. Scrapewise maintains security measures consistent with industry standards and GDPR.
10. Support & Service Levels
Support levels depend on the subscribed plan. Business and Enterprise customers may negotiate SLAs separately.
11. Fees & Payment
Fees. Fees are listed on the Scrapewise pricing page or in written Enterprise agreements and may change over time.
Billing. Fees are billed in advance (monthly or annually). Billing begins at subscription activation.
Automatic Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before renewal.
Refunds. Payments are non-refundable except where required by law. Scrapewise may issue refunds if the Service is unavailable for more than seven days due to Scrapewise fault.
Taxes. Fees exclude taxes. Customers are responsible for VAT, sales tax, or similar charges.
12. Liability & Indemnification
Scrapewise’s liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Customers agree to indemnify Scrapewise for claims resulting from their misuse of the Service or violations of this Agreement.
13. Termination
Scrapewise may suspend or terminate Accounts violating this Agreement or applicable laws. Upon termination, access to Customer Data is removed and data is deleted according to retention rules.
14. Changes to This Agreement
We may update this Agreement periodically. Material updates will be communicated through the Service or email. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.

16. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Estonia. Disputes shall be resolved in Estonian courts.
