Amazon's own sales chart, as a spreadsheet

The Amazon Best Sellers API reads the Best Sellers chart for a category and returns it as rows ranked 1 to 50. The top 30 come with ASIN, title, link, image, price, star rating and review count. Ranks 31 to 50 come with rank, ASIN and link only. One call costs €0.00015, and 1,000 pulls cost €0.15. Amazon builds these charts from recent sales and refreshes them through the day. You're reading Amazon's own ranking, not a tool's estimate. Pull 40 categories every day and you make 1,200 calls a month. That's €0.18 for a daily record of 2,000 ranked products.

Every Amazon Best Sellers column, explained

Each row is one ranked product. The sw columns match all other Scrapewise data APIs, so chart rows line up with search and product rows. rank and sw position hold the chart position. The ctx columns describe the chart itself and repeat on every row.

Rank

The chart position from 1 to 50 on page 1, or 51 to 100 on page 2. Every row has it, including the short rows below rank 30.

Filter the top 30 for items with under 500 reviews. In our Books sample, rank 2 had 9 ratings and rank 5 had 2. Those listings sell well without a big review wall around them.
