What one Gemini call returns

The Gemini answers API sends one question to Gemini, Google's AI assistant, and saves the full answer as one row. One question costs €0.00375, so 1,000 questions cost €3.75. It's a simple way to track your brand's visibility in Gemini without an AI visibility subscription. You top up a wallet and pay per question, and all our other sources are priced on the all data APIs and prices page. Save your questions once, and every answer is stored in your Scrapewise account for the table, Excel, your AI assistant or the API.

On 16 September 2026 we asked Gemini which budget blenders have the best reviews in 2026. The answer named nine blenders by full model name. Five were Hamilton Beach, two were Magic Bullet, and Oster and Mainstays had one each. If you sell a blender under $100 and it isn't on that list, you now know where you stand with shoppers who ask Gemini first.

Gemini doesn't always say where its facts come from. Three of our six test answers had source links, all of them research questions, such as what a good Amazon FBA profit margin is. The blender answer had none, and neither did two one-line fact questions. When Gemini does give sources, up to four are saved next to the answer.

Gemini is Google's assistant, so it's the one we'd check first if most of your buyers find you through Google Search, Shopping or Maps. Our ChatGPT answers API returns the same kind of row for ChatGPT, if you want to ask both assistants the same questions.

Who tracks Gemini answers

  • Amazon, Walmart and Shopify sellers

Buyers ask an assistant for 'the best air fryer under $80' before they search a marketplace. Run your category's top 25 questions and count how often your product gets named.

  • Small brands without an AI visibility tool

AI visibility tools usually bill monthly. Here, 100 questions a week is about 400 calls a month, or €1.50, and you keep every answer.

  • Agencies and SEO freelancers

Show a client what Gemini says about their brand and their three biggest rivals, word for word. A 20-question report costs €0.075.

  • App and software makers

Ask Gemini to compare your app with competitors by name. Check that the prices and plans it repeats are still true.

How it works

  1. Write the questions once

Use the words a buyer would type, like 'best budget blender for smoothies' or 'is [your brand] any good'. One question is one call.

  2. Run them weekly

Each run adds dated rows, so this week's answer sits next to last month's. New accounts get 5 free requests. Rows are kept for 90 days.

  3. Search the answers

Filter for brand names in the table or Excel, pull rows by API, or ask your own AI assistant: 'how often did Gemini mention my brand this month?'

Set it up once. The data keeps coming.

Save your search once and it runs by itself. Every run lands in your own Scrapewise database, and you pick how to read it.

  1. Set it up once

Add your ASINs, keywords, places or apps to a scraper in the web app. New accounts get 5 free requests.

  2. Runs on your schedule

Pick daily, weekly on the days you choose, every few days, or the first or last day of the month. Scheduled runs start at night, European time. Need it more often? Start runs from your own code.

  3. Saved in your database

Each run adds dated rows, so this week sits next to last week. Rows are kept for 90 days.

  4. Use it your way

Open the table in the web app and download the latest run as an Excel file. Ask your own AI assistant about it. Or pull the rows into your code with an API key.

Ask your AI assistant about your own data

Connect Claude Desktop, Claude Code or another MCP app with a read-only key. The assistant reads the rows you've already collected, at no extra cost on Scrapewise. With a full-access key it can start a run for you too.

  • Which of my ASINs lost the Buy Box this week?
  • Which competitor cut prices the most since Monday?
  • Show the keywords where I dropped out of the top 10.

OKhttps://gemini.google.com/app?q=What+is+a+good+profit+margin+for+an+Amazon+FBA+product%3FFor an Amazon FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) product, a **good net profithttps://www.sellerforge.ai/blog/amazon-fba-profit-margin-benchmarks2026-09-16T11:36:59ZWhat is a good profit margin for an Amazon FBA product? For an Amazon FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) product, a **good net profit margin typically falls between 15% and 25%**. Industry data shows that while many new sellers aim for high numbers right out of the gate, the average net margin for most established Amazon sellers sits around **15% to 20%**. --- ### Profit Margin Benchmarks * **Strong / Excellent (25% to 35%+):** You are in a great position. This is common for well-optimized private-label brands in low-competition or high-loyalty niches. * **Good / Healthy (15% to 25%):** This is the sweet spot for most successful Amazon FBA businesses, providing enough cushion to absorb unexpected cost increases, storage fee hikes, or advertising fluctuations. * **Warning Sign (Under 10% to 12%):** Operating below this threshold leaves your business structurally fragile. One bad quarter, a sudden spike in PPC (Pay-Per-Click) advertising costs, or an increase in Amazon referral/fulfillment fees can easily push you into negative territory. --- ### Key Factors That Impact Your Margins #### 1. Your Business Model * **Private Label (Highest Margins: 20% to 30%+):** Because you source or manufacture your own product and own the listing, you have the highest pricing power and control over your costs. * **Wholesale & Retail Arbitrage (Lower Margins: 10% to 20%):** You are usually competing with other sellers for a shared Buy Box, which compresses your margins by design. #### 2. Product Category The physical size, weight, and inherent return rates of a product dictate how much profit survives Amazon's fee structure: * **High-Margin Niches (22% to 35%):** *Beauty & Personal Care, Health & Household, and Pet Supplies.* These items tend to be small, lightweight (keeping FBA fulfillment fees low), consumable, and have lower return rates. * **Low-to-Mid Margin Niches (10% to 18%):** *Electronics, Apparel, and Grocery.* Electronics face heavy competition and quick obsolescence, apparel suffers from high return rates (often 20%+) that quietly kill margins, and grocery items carry expiration risks. #### 3. Advertising (PPC) and Hidden Costs A common pitfall for sellers is confusing **gross margin** with **net margin**. A product might look like it has a 50% gross margin after subtracting the item cost and Amazon’s referral and FBA fees. However, once you factor in the following, your actual net profit drops significantly: * **PPC Advertising:** Often accounts for 10% to 20% of your total revenue depending on how competitive your niche is. * **Returns and Refunds:** Damaged or returned inventory can quickly siphon off 3% to 5% of your bottom line. * **Storage Fees:** Particularly the drastically higher storage rates charged during the Q4 holiday rush (October through December). --- ### Rule of Thumb for Product Research When sourcing a new product to sell for $25, make sure that after subtracting your COGS (Cost of Goods Sold), inbound shipping, Amazon referral fees, FBA pick-and-pack fees, and an estimated advertising budget, you are left with **at least $4 to $5 in actual net profit per unit** (translating to a 15–20%+ net margin). YouTube Search Auto-Suggest (Native) * **Best for:** Uncovering exact, real-time user phrases for free. * **How it works:** Go to YouTube and start typing a topic in the search bar. The autocomplete drop-down reveals what actual viewers are searching for. * **Pro Tip:** Use underscores (`_`) or letters before/after your seed keyword to force YouTube to give you more granular, long-tail variations. ### 2. vidIQ (Free Tier & Browser Extension) * **Best for:** Platform-specific metrics like search volume and competition scores. * **How it works:** vidIQ offers a robust free tier and a browser extension that embeds data right into the YouTube interface. When you search for a term on YouTube, it displays a "Keyword Score" blending search volume with competition, alongside related terms. ### 3. TubeBuddy (Free Tier & Browser Extension) * **Best for:** Channel optimization and quick SEO scorecards. * **How it works:** Similar to vidIQ, TubeBuddy’s free browser extension provides a "Keyword Explorer" tool directly inside YouTube. It evaluates how difficult a keyword is to rank for based on your specific channel's authority and search volume. ### 4. Google Trends (Filtered for YouTube) * **Best for:** Spotting breakout trends and seasonality. * **How it works:** Enter a topic into Google Trends and change the search filter from "Web Search" to **"YouTube Search."** This ensures the data reflects video consumer behavior rather than general web browsing, letting you capitalize on rising topics early. ### 5. Keyword Tool (KeywordTool.io - Free Version) * **Best for:** Generating a massive list of long-tail keywords. * **How it works:** This tool scrapes YouTube’s autocomplete data to generate hundreds of long-tail keyword suggestions for free. While the free tier won't show you exact search volumes (that requires the paid version), it is unmatched for expanding your brainstorming list. --- **Which niche or topic are you currently planning content around, and I can help you brainstorm some initial keywords?**https://medium.com/the-passive-writer/5-best-keyword-research-tools-for-youtube-free-and-premium-1a77808af574https://www.semrush.com/blog/youtube-keyword-tools/https://vidiq.com/features/keyword-tools/https://keywordtool.io/youtube
OKhttps://gemini.google.com/app?q=Which+Google+Maps+reviews+tips+help+a+local+cafe+get+more+customers%3FFor a local café, generating a steady stream of Google Maps reviews ishttps://taplly.io/help/blog/10-proven-ways-cafes-can-get-more-google-reviews-20260321-f15369a42026-09-16T11:38:13ZWhich Google Maps reviews tips help a local cafe get more customers? For a local café, generating a steady stream of Google Maps reviews is one of the most effective ways to boost local search visibility, build trust, and attract new foot traffic. Key strategies and "tips" to help a local café collect more Google reviews include: ### 1. Master the Timing (Ask at the Moment of Peak Delight) * **The Loyalty Milestone:** Asking right after a customer hits a loyalty milestone (e.g., getting a free stamp or reward) is one of the highest-converting moments because they are in a peak-positive emotional state. * **Spontaneous Compliments:** If a customer says at the counter, *"This is the best flat white I've had all week,"* that is your cue. Staff can warmly respond: *"That means a great deal! Would you mind sharing that in a quick Google review? I can text or show you the link."* ### 2. Reduce Friction with QR Codes Make it effortless for customers to drop a review without having to search for your business manually on Google Maps: * **At the Counter & Tables:** Place small, clean QR code signs or table tents with a lighthearted prompt like: *"Loved your coffee? A 30-second review makes our week!"* * **Receipts & Takeaway Cups:** Automatically print a review QR code at the bottom of customer receipts or incorporate them subtly onto packaging. ### 3. Leverage Digital Touchpoints * **Post-Visit Emails or SMS:** If your café uses a digital ordering app, Wi-Fi login portal, or reservation/loyalty platform, set up an automated, friendly follow-up text or email roughly 24 hours later thanking them and providing a direct link to your Google review page. ### 4. Encourage Keyword-Rich and Descriptive Reviews Google’s algorithm reads the text inside reviews. When customers mention specific details, it helps your café rank higher when people search for those exact terms (e.g., *"best cold brew,"* *"quiet workspace,"* *"gluten-free pastries,"* or your neighborhood name). * *Tip:* When you reply to reviews or prompt customers, gently highlight what you specialize in so they know what kind of details are helpful to share. ### 5. Actively Respond to Every Review (A Ranking Signal) Google has confirmed that the frequency with which a business replies to reviews influences local rankings. * **Show Appreciation:** Reply to positive reviews promptly by mentioning specifics (e.g., *"Thanks, Sarah! So glad you loved the raspberry croissant"*). * **Handle Negatives Gracefully:** Respond professionally and constructively to negative reviews. Future customers often look at how a café handles criticism more than the review itself. ### 6. What to Avoid (Google Policy Violations) * **Don't Gate Reviews:** Avoid filtering out unhappy customers or only asking people you *know* are thrilled ("review gating"), as this violates Google's terms. * **Don't Incentivize for Positive Ratings:** Offering free coffee *in exchange for* a 5-star review goes against Google’s prohibited content policies. Keep incentives separate from the act of reviewing itself.https://taplly.io/help/blog/10-proven-ways-cafes-can-get-more-google-reviews-20260321-f15369a4https://backagain.au/blog/google-reviews-for-cafeshttps://www.getcraver.com/blog/how-to-get-more-google-reviews/

What you can do with Gemini answers

01

Count your brand mentions

Run 25 buyer questions every week and count the answers that name your brand. Chart the count by week to see whether a new listing, a review push or a press mention moved it.

02

Pull out Gemini's product shortlist

Product answers name products by full model name, as the blender answer did with nine models. Extract the names and you have Gemini's shortlist for your category, brand by brand.

03

Check the sources when there are any

The Amazon FBA margin answer linked sellerforge.ai, goaura.com and amzprep.com. Sites that come up again and again across your questions are the ones to pitch for a review or a mention.

04

Spot wrong facts

Search answers for old prices, discontinued models or options you dropped. Then update the pages that still carry the old facts, starting with your own site and marketplace listings.

05

Test your product name

Ask about your product by name. If Gemini mixes it up with another brand or describes something else, your naming or your listings need work.

06

Compare Gemini with ChatGPT

Send the same questions to both assistants. A brand one names and the other ignores shows you where your content is thin.
