Google rankings for any keyword, priced per search

The Google search API runs a keyword on Google and returns the ranked results as rows, about 9 per call. Each row has the position, title, link, source, displayed link and snippet. Every row also carries the People also ask questions and up to 8 related searches for that keyword. One search costs €0.0015, so 1,000 searches cost €1.50. The same 1,000 searches on a typical monthly SERP plan start at $25. Compare every source on our page of all data APIs and prices. Save your keywords once, and every run's results are stored in your Scrapewise account for the table, Excel, your AI assistant or the API.

You choose where the search happens. Country, language, device and a location such as New York are inputs on each call. Rankings for "best standing desk" in Chicago on a phone can differ from what you see at your desk in Berlin. Rank tracking only makes sense when you fix those settings and keep them.

Google now puts an AI Overview above many results pages. This API covers the ranked results and the questions around them. When you want the full AI Overview text and the sources it cites, the Google AI Overview API expands it for €0.00075 per call, half the price of a search. For Google's chat-style answer page, there's the Google AI Mode API.

Who uses the Google search API

  • SEO freelancers and small agencies

Track client keywords weekly without paying for a monthly rank tracker seat. 100 keywords a week is about €0.65 a month.

  • Online store owners

See who ranks for the words your buyers type, like "how to find winning products to sell on amazon", and what their snippet promises.

  • Content writers and bloggers

Pull People also ask questions and related searches for a topic and turn them into headings and FAQ sections.

  • App and tool builders

Add Google results to your own product and pay per search, so a quiet month costs almost nothing.

How it works

  1. Add your keywords once

Enter keywords in the web app and pick a country, language, device and location if you need them. Each keyword is one call at €0.0015.

  2. Run it on a schedule

Daily or weekly, and every run is saved with its date. Your ranking history builds itself and stays for 90 days.

  3. Use the rows

Filter by your domain in the table and download Excel, pull rows by API, or ask your AI assistant: 'which of my keywords dropped out of the top 10 this week?'

Set it up once. The data keeps coming.

Save your search once and it runs by itself. Every run lands in your own Scrapewise database, and you pick how to read it.

  1. Set it up once

Add your ASINs, keywords, places or apps to a scraper in the web app. New accounts get 5 free requests.

  2. Runs on your schedule

Pick daily, weekly on the days you choose, every few days, or the first or last day of the month. Scheduled runs start at night, European time. Need it more often? Start runs from your own code.

  3. Saved in your database

Each run adds dated rows, so this week sits next to last week. Rows are kept for 90 days.

  4. Use it your way

Open the table in the web app and download the latest run as an Excel file. Ask your own AI assistant about it. Or pull the rows into your code with an API key.

Ask your AI assistant about your own data

Connect Claude Desktop, Claude Code or another MCP app with a read-only key. The assistant reads the rows you've already collected, at no extra cost on Scrapewise. With a full-access key it can start a run for you too.

  • Which of my ASINs lost the Buy Box this week?
  • Which competitor cut prices the most since Monday?
  • Show the keywords where I dropped out of the top 10.

What people do with Google search data

01

Track rankings for client keywords

Save position and link for 100 keywords every week and report what moved. A drop from position 3 to 8 shows up in the next run.

02

Mine People also ask for content ideas

Export the questions for your main topics. Questions like "What's the most profitable item to sell on Amazon?" make good H2s and FAQ entries.

03

Find related keywords

Collect the related searches for 50 seed terms. That's up to 400 keyword ideas for €0.075, taken straight from Google.

04

Watch your brand name

Search your brand every day and alert when a new domain enters the results, such as a review site or a reseller.

05

See what kind of sites win a keyword

Group results by source. If Reddit threads and seller forums hold half the spots, a product page will struggle there and a guide might not.

06

Check your snippet

Read the snippet Google shows for your page next to your competitors'. If theirs answers the question and yours doesn't, rewrite your meta description.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. Country, language, device and a location such as a city are inputs on every call. Keep them the same between runs, or your rank changes will reflect a different location, not a real move.
