How to scrape eMAG.ro

eMAG is the default place Romanians shop online, and it is two businesses in one listing: eMAG selling its own stock, and thousands of marketplace sellers competing on the same product page. For a brand that means your SKU can appear at eMAG's price, at an appointed partner's price, and at a price set by someone you never appointed, all in the same session. eMAG's programmatic access is a marketplace seller API, scoped to the account you authorise, and aimed at managing your own offers, orders and stock. It will not tell you what a rival charges. Scrapewise carries no dedicated eMAG endpoint either. What works is the public listing, and eMAG is unusually cooperative about it: we measured a plain fetch on 29 September 2026 and the offers came back in the HTML with no browser needed. You paste emag.ro URLs into the AI scraper, declare the columns you want, and set a daily schedule. Every run comes back over REST, CSV or Excel, and you pay per page from a prepaid wallet.

We measured this rather than assumed it. On 29 September 2026 a plain fetch of an emag.ro search URL came back at 200 with the product tiles, prices and stock wording already in the HTML, so the common case needs no browser at all. eMAG is one of the few large European marketplaces where that is still true. Deeper or faster runs can still be challenged, and a run that gets escalated is billed at the higher tier it actually used.

  • No dedicated eMAG endpoint

    There is no eMAG data API in our catalogue and no pre-built eMAG schema. The AI scraper reads the page you point it at, and that is the whole mechanism.

  • No seller-account data

    Anything behind eMAG's marketplace login, your orders, your stock, your performance figures, is not reachable by a scraper reading public pages.

  • The full seller list is extra URLs

    A run against the base listing returns the offer eMAG is featuring. Covering every competing seller means covering the offers pages too, which changes the page count and the cost.

  • Three markets are three scrapers

    emag.ro, emag.bg and emag.hu are separate sites. We do not merge them for you, and we do not convert RON, BGN and HUF into one currency.

  • Daily, not real time

    Daily is the fastest schedule. There is no real-time feed, no per-minute polling and no price-drop alerting.

  • No price history, no SKU matching

    We store nothing about eMAG prices on our side, so a price curve starts the day you switch the scraper on. You get eMAG's rows as eMAG presents them, mapping them to your catalogue is a separate job, and we are not lawyers, so check eMAG's terms before you run anything.

What it cannot give you The scraper cannot invent a field the page does not render. The full seller list for a product usually sits behind an offers link rather than on the main listing, so a run against the base URL returns the offer eMAG is featuring rather than every competing offer. Tell us up front if you need all of them, because that is a different set of URLs. Historical prices are not on the page and are not stored on our side.

For a lot of brands eMAG is the entire Romanian channel, and the least monitored one in the portfolio. Scraping your own products daily tells you what eMAG and its sellers actually charge for them, which is not always what you agreed.

Three countries, three sites

  • emag.ro, emag.bg and emag.hu are separate sites in separate currencies and need separate scrapers
  • Prices are quoted in RON, BGN and HUF, so a cross-market comparison needs a conversion step you control
  • Assortment differs by market, so a SKU present in Romania may simply not exist in Hungary
